Doncaster Woodturning Club We are a small, growing band of people, who have found enjoyment and the occasional small profit from shaping wood on a lathe. Projects range from boxes, bowls and platters, candle holders of all sorts of shapes and sizes, model steam engines and artistic pieces which include wood inlays, piercing and colour. Pieces can be useful or purely decorative. Members come from a wide range of backgrounds, though most have a practical nature and, inevitably, many are retired. They all love working with wood in one way and another. -
