Creative Directions

Creative Directions is a free weekly opportunity for adults with experience of mental health issues to develop and maintain good mental health, make connections with others and build their confidence through creative activities.

The group meets at The Point every Thursday. The day is split into two halves: the morning session (10am – 12pm) is self-facilitated, meaning people come along and make use of our space and free art materials in whatever way they want. The afternoon session (1:30pm – 3:30pm) is artist-led; darts artists lead the group in creative activities.

In terms of art, there’s plenty you could get involved in – drawing, painting, crafting, music, and much more. You don't need any experience to take part and we'll provide all the materials you need.

You don’t need a referral from anywhere to attend Creative Directions. If you think that attending these creative sessions would help you, then you’re welcome to come along. There’s no need to book; you can just turn up on the day.

Creative Directions is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and is delivered by darts.
