Doncaster and Rotherham Alzheimer's Society in Cantley

Doncaster pre and post diagnosis services provide information, advice and emotional support for people worried about their memory and to those who already have a dementia diagnosis. Support is also for friends, family and carers who are supporting a person with memory loss or are living with a diagnosis of dementia. Support is provided through regular contact, with a dedicated Memory Advisor or Dementia Support Worker, whether it be around guiding a person through the assessment and diagnosis pathway or providing information and advice about a specific diagnosis of dementia.

The Alzheimer’s Society also host community groups.

There is no charge to attend any of the groups and it is not necessary to book in advance.

Current carers/family members are encouraged and welcome to attend with the person living with dementia.
