Making a Difference Group

The Doncaster Parents Voice Making a Difference Group consists of parents/carers of children/young people with SEND who have direct contact with with Doncaster Council staff and health partners to ensure that work being implemented for SEND provision in education and health in Doncaster is focused on what children with SEND need.

This group is open to parents/carers of children/young people with SEND to come along to the  meetings and have their say on what is working and what isn't working in Doncaster. The meetings are also an opportunity for parents/carers to get feedback from Doncaster Council and health partners on what’s happening in the local area, in schools and in health provision.

You can join us! Doncaster Parents Voice members are eligible to join this group. We always welcome new members to the group and to Doncaster Parents Voice, it is so important to have the views of parents/carers heard. The meetings are held online via Microsoft Teams in the day time and also in the evening for parents/carers who work.

You are welcome to join the group meetings and membership of Doncaster Parents Voice and you can do so by e-mailing us: dpvevents@doncastercarers.org.uk .
