Beginning your child's autism journey

Sessions for parents who are starting to consider an autism diagnosis or who have been referred to the GDA Pathway (A series of 6 sessions, starting 28th February 2025)

We are excited to bring you a programme of weekly 1 hour sessions for parents who are starting to consider an autism diagnosis or who have been referred to the GDA Pathway. The areas we will be covering each week are:

  • 28th February 2025 - An introduction to getting a diagnosis & interests and focus (This session will include part 1 and part 2 and will take place from 10.00am to 12.00pm)
  • 7th March 2025 - Social interaction and social communication (10.00am - 11.00am)
  • 14th March 2025 - Sensory (10.00am - 11.00am)
  • 21st March 2025 - Stimming, routine and structure (10.00am - 11.00am)
  • 28th March 2025 - Emotions and energy levels (10.00am - 11.00am)

PLEASE NOTE These workshops cannot be booked individually, they are part of a series of workshops. When booking please ensure that you are able to attend all of the sessions. These sessions are for parent carers.
