Migration Partnership together with Kings Cross Church and Changing Lives organises weekly drop-in sessions in Hexthorpe.

Serving communities, improving lives

Drop-in sessions take place every Tuesday from 10:00 and 13:00 at the Crossings Hall and offer support for Doncaster migrant communities and offer information, advice and guidance on housing, employment, benefits, immigration, health and wellbeing, community groups, youth services, safety and many more.

The partner agencies are: Migrant Action, various NHS services, Doncaster Mind, Conversation Club and Citizens Advice Bureau, Integration and Partnership, Domestic Abuse service and Well Doncaster from the City of Doncaster Council.

The multi-agency sessions started in June and since then have become a vital service and filling a gap in service provision in terms of a single point of access for holistic support for all migration groups as well accessible to local communities.

City of Doncaster Council provides this platform as information for the public regarding various events and entities available to the community. Where an event is organised and run by the Council we will make that clear. For all other listed events we do not organise, control or oversee the operations, policies, or practices of these organisers. The appearance of such events on this website is for the purposes of information only and the Council neither endorses or assumes any responsibility or liability for those events.

All such events should be organised in compliance all the current relevant legal requirements with regard to the safety of the participants, spectators and officials, as well as the protection of the local community and the environment.

We expect all events organisers to tell us about the event they’re planning via the Organise and stage an event in Doncaster page.

Any issues, disputes, or concerns related to event management, logistics, ticketing, or attendee experiences should be directed to the respective event organisers.

Participation in events promoted on this page is voluntary and at the discretion of individuals. Attendees assume full responsibility for their own safety, well-being, and any risks associated with attending the event. It is essential to follow all event guidelines, instructions, and safety protocols provided by the event organisers and any other relevant authority as appropriate.
